I already have a Bid for Wine account - why am I being asked to sign up again?
Bid for Wine's Live Auction site is separate from the main Bid for Wine site. If you have an account on our main site, you can use it on the Live Auction site - just head to Sign in and enter your main Bid for Wine username and password under 'Sign up with your Bid for Wine account'. We'll then do a secure transfer of your details.
Why am I asked for a credit card before I can bid
Bid for Wine requires that users lodge a valid credit card with us before allowing bids to be placed. In cases where lots have not been paid for within 7 days of the close of an auction this card will then be used to collect payment. Your card will not be charged in any other circumstances. We do not have access to your card details - these are instead handled by our secure payment provider, Sagepay.
